bigred715 Montana Master Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Eugene Posts: 1,058 M.O.C. #5091	In 2012 around April or middle of May we went to Gatlin and it wasn't crowded. We went again in 2019 as part of the Blue Ridge Parkway and The first of October. The traffic was HORRIBLE and took an hour in a traffic jam to get a place to park. It might have been a weekend, I can't remember. Very very crowded. Not recommend October.
