It would help if you listed the model of your Montana. But I am guessing you have a 3400RL where they hid the converter behind the fuse panel in the bathroom. You need to remove the fuse panel first. It is only held in by a few screws and there is plenty of slack in the wiring to pull it out. This gives you access to the converter which is then easy to remove.
