Thanks for catching my typo / brain fade mistake. The start date (6/19) has been corrected. The last full day of the rally is 6/25 and the 26th is the departure day (no activities will be scheduled).

An odd question but we have never been to one of these rallies. What can you expect do you get good information . I understand you would meet fellow monty owners and tell stories but what else do they do. thanks

The rallies vary in activities. They range from highly structured with scheduled classes from members and vendors to informal gatherings. All of them feature old friends, new friends, eating, site seeing, and spontaneous events.

The best way to see the differences is to review past Agendas for the various rallies.

The annual MOC Fall Rally in Goshen is one of the highly organized events. This year's agenda is HERE.

The Regional Rallies tend to be more social with little vendor participation. A couple of sample agendas are HERE and HERE.

Probably the least organized rallies are like the annual Quartzsite gathering. There tends to be a minimal schedule of events at Quartzsite as there is a lot to do (or not for those seeking relaxation) in the area as you can read HERE

Regardless of the event you attend, you will have a wonderful time!

Does anyone have any information on the north east rally? Is it at 1,000 Islands? We are starting to plan our trips for next year and would like to work it in if possible.

I think I've read that you can arrive early but must contact the campground to reserve the extra day(s). My question is will they assign me the same spot that I will have for the Rally? Or will the Rally officials assign me a different spot and I will have to move? Or will I stay in the original spot but be located outside the "block" of camp spots that the other rally folks will be in? I would like to come a couple of days early but don't want to have to move or be away from the other rally folks.
