All the resorts we go to have cheap laundry and we do big loads and be done with it,no big deal,I did not want the extra weight OR space taken up in my closet(My Wife has WAY too many Clothes to give up closet space),BUT others here would not do without them as you will see from the coming comments...But that is just our preference in 5+ years of fulltiming
We feel exactly the same
Same for us.

We have the stacked units which we bought on craigslist for < $500. Wouldn't want it any other way. So much so that when it's time to replace the 3400 we will not buy a rig that doesn't have room for separate units. They took a ton of space and added about that much weight (slight exaggeration) but well worth it to us. If we were retired or didn't full time we may have a different opinion but simple time management decision for us. An hour every couple/few days in our own home whenever/however we like (just like our S&B) vs running back and forth to the park laundry or worse spending valuable free time sitting in a laundry mat.

We are not full timers but when we are on vacation we really love the convenience of our washer & dryer. We have had the combo unit and now we use the stackable washer & dryer. The stackable units were the way to go for us.

We had the Vented Combo in our last two units and it worked great, we now have the stacked units and they are even better. This rig has a dedicated area for them so we gave up next to nothing, other than money, for them.
Wouldn't be without them as we spend 8 to 10 months in our SOB.
