Wouldn’t a Dually technically be a 4 wheel drive vehicle? Always wondered how to answer the question, “is it 4 wheel drive?” at the parts house. So it would be a 6x4? Keepin the tread alive.

Wouldn't a 4 wheel drive Dually actually be a "6 X 6"??

Exactly! That’s what I’m saying!! Every Dually is 4 wheel drive.

Not all duallys have front wheel drive. But 4 of the tires are always driven.

We have always had 4wd, but more importantly I always have tire chains. Saved us quite a few times not to mention the down hill braking with chains. They're like studs on a sled.
