RV parks near New Orleans

Hello from CO. Instead of AZ next year we're touring SE USA Jan-April of 2023. Leaving after Xmas and planning to be in New Orleans area early to mid January. Looking for suggestions for RV parks (not resorts) outside of the city to avoid major traffic and still be close enough to do day trips. Planning to eat our way through LA.

Private messages are OK as well. Probably be 40' MH and our HC 295RL.

Bayou Segnette State Park

We stayed at Saint Benard state park.
Nice park but on the wrong side of the river to easily commute to touring the sights in NO.
