White Elephant Exchange Volunteer helpers

The White Elephant Gift Exchange is scheduled for Friday, 10th 4pm - 6:30pm, or till done.

Setup will begin ~ 3:30pm.

We are thinking we will need about 8 volunteers to set up the room (arrange tables, chairs, gifts) to help during exchange (a speaker, stickers, wrapping paper disposal, etc.) and clean-up (set tables and chairs back for next event.

Also, we want to have folks present their gifts at the door and then draw their participation tickets, so we will need people at the door to help with this.

One gift per rig.

My husband Robin has agreed to coordinate this event in conjunction with Karen Simpson. Our attendance at the rally depends on the U.S. border being open to us Canadians. In the meantime, I am posting this looking for volunteer helpers. Please reply stating your name and what you would like to do. Thanks!

Can someone volunteer to help and still participate in the event?

I’m wondering if we should wrap our gift? Some years we do and sometimes they are placed in black bags…

Great question Terrie! Yes, they need to be wrapped or in a gift bag, etc., as we will not be using black bags. No one can touch, peek in, or pick up a gift to check it out before picking one. The first one you touch is yours. 😀 Thanks for the reminder. I love gift wrapping them.
