I have an 07' Ram 3500, turbo diesel, 8' bed, fleet side. Went with the biggest Pulrite hitch, works fine, have pulled several 5rs.

Air bags
Just my opinion, anything you have to pull with or carry weight, you should have bags. It is usually instol error, bad bag, or vehicle problem. Just my opinion!
