Just to be clear, the only real change in wingard products is the 5G. Your 2021 360 will work with a 1000 4G LTE. 5G isn't ready anyway. Not enough coverage!

I'm very happy with my Winegard 360 & Winegard gateway 1000 combo. I have a T-Mobile data plan, but can use any provider. Don't get the plan from Winegard, go directly to the provider. It's cheaper....

My understanding is that's an expansion joint purposely designed to prevent the sidewall from cracking. That area often has frame flex due to cracked welds. There is a lot of discussion on the forums...
