My slides will creep out (all hydraulic) on my '04 occasionally. Always seems to happen in wild temperature swings, like -10˚ and then 35˚ the next day. I always just pull them back in.

My ‘04 3295RK empties into the front gray tank. Wondered that myself some years back so I figured it out when I de-winterized. I wish it was the black as I am a lot easier on that tank than the gray.

Open the low point drains before you do anything else. When they are open, open every valve so vacuum doesn't stop any water from voiding the system....

I would trust a good welding shop / welder every time vs an RV repair shop. Welding shops typically do a lot of fab work and understand stress points and reinforcement techniques.
