CA and IN require chains regardless of your licensing state. Most folks, including yours truly, just buy the chains and leave them on. No fuss.

It was just a matter of time before anecdotal data arrived. Never had any problems with the pin adaptor rotating. Folllowed provided instructions for proper torgue of the set screws
