I could be wrong on this, our 2017 has a booster...

I could be wrong on this, our 2017 has a booster that’s in-line and you need to turn that booster off to use cable. The booster if for over the air antenna, our booster in in the bedroom tv area.

I did not remove the old base, just removed the...

I did not remove the old base, just removed the top mushroom cap. I did not see the point in removing the old base and caulk being it was still in good shape.

Well shoot, I think I wound the spring the wrong...

Well shoot, I think I wound the spring the wrong direction. Only retracts about a less then 3’ or so and comes to a dead stop as if it’s hitting some sort of block. I guess it’s time for YouTube lol.
