I'm planning on DYI install a solar system with 1000w of panels, 3000w inverter/charger Vitron and 4 100amp Litime lithium batteries with a cold shut off protection.

Thanks Zack, I was able to locate the hidden converter and yes it is not designed for Lithium charging( Progresive Dynamics Inteli-Power Model PD9280, 1300 watt output 13.6VDC, 80 amps). My thoughts...
