I am not so sure about the onboard TST sensors. Our traveling companion with a new Luxe has the TST onboard sensors and they aren't displaying accurate values even with two repeaters.

Montanas used a Suburban water heater for many years. It has an anode rod. Newer Montanas come with an Atwood water heater. It does not have an anode rod. I would be guessing to say which you have.
