We just had a Direct TV HD-DVR and new Slimline dish installed and learned that Direct TV now has software to allow one line in to the DVR which then allows 2 tuners to be used. You know, record one channel and watch another, or watch a recorded show and record two channels. The only issue we have is that the techs weren't able to show us how to input a zip code to find the elevation and azmith on the new DVR. They also told us not to put the dish on a tripod but on a "sled" which they set up. It is huge and Bob is going looking for a tripod tomorrow. Anyone out there using a tripod with the Slimline dish? If so, how do you like it?
