It can be done now with new cutting tools that weren’t available 20 years ago. It’s slow but can be done. To show how far cutting tools have come. I bought 6, 7/16 drills this week. A common 7/16 drill will cost $4 these were $46 each but will drill 5 times faster and lasts 10 times longer. To look at them you can’t tell the difference. With new coating these new cutting tools will do things we couldn’t even dream about a few years ago.
