No offense guys but I don't want to replace plastic with plastic. If I don't replace it with Aluminum sheet metal then I may add square tubing bracing similar to the angle iron mentioned. Keep in mind I am a welder so fabrication isn't an issue.


Having experience with fabrication, I can quickly see that there is a much cleaner design with Aluminum sheeting. They don't do it that way at the factory because of cost and no other reason.
