Have a similar problem but it happens no matter what the temperature. Jacks will come up and then it is as if power was cut (it is - the 50 amp circuit breaker cuts off and then come back on a couple of seconds later). I can then raise the jacks a bit more before the breaker acts up again. Many have changed out their 50amp breaker for 80 amps, and upgraded the battery cables to handle 80 amps as well. Supposedly, many of the manufacturers are now sending new units out with 80 amp circuit for the slides and leveling systems - I can't swear to it though as I've not seen a 'new' unit is some time. Kansas City has their annual RV Show in a couple of weeks, I hope to make it there and will try to check this out.
