It is highly variable. We have stayed at several state, city, and COE parks, but no national parks. We are just under 35'. Some don't accommodate longer rigs well. Sites can be short and access roads narrow. But most have had at least some sites long enough for 40' rigs. But those also tend to be taken first, even if their rigs are smaller, as everyone wants large sites. And some have sites long enough for a 45' MH with toad behind still connected. You just about have to research each park/campground you want to go to.
