My mistake. Reading in too big of a hurry, thought the post was about rig’s battery.
I too remove my sending units when parked more than a couple weeks. I usually get 3-4 years out of the batteries. I never remove batteries except to replace them. Evidently as I first believed, when uninstalled the sending units are turned off.
