I'm in the keep it in the shop gang. If we travel over a lengthy period and distance, I grease before we leave and when we get back. If we were to do another cross country jaunt, the grease gun would again be in a plastic bag and in the front compartment along with the jack, spare pre packed wheel bearings, Lego blocks and whatever other less then clean gadgets are stored.
