We actually towed a Chevy HHR behind the Mobile Suites we owned before. I did in fact add (welded) on supports. Never had and issue. Towed the HHR all over the West, and east. Stopped one time for being over length, courtesy ticket given. This was in Kansas, I was 75' long. Frieghtliner was the tow vehicle.
