As more Sailuns hit the roads its inevitable there will be more failures. I'm 100% positive there have been many other failures other than whats been reported here.
I know of two. One I saw with my own eyes with the owner telling me it was the second of his made in China Sailuns. Both were simply tread separation from the tire. They were two years old with around 10k miles. Of course, this was just a few months after I put them on our trailer.
Why more North American tire manufacturers don't make ST tires is mind boggling to me. They build the best auto tires that money can buy with very competitive prices. I have no doubt they could do the same in the ST tire world.
