Actually the Gross Ventre(sp?) has SOME electric sites. But no reservations so I haven't tried since I like to know I will have somewhere to stay. Another place much closer than Cody is Dubois. Several nice parks there and some other sites in the area (Union pass, a goat/sheep museum, a couple of lakes). It is maybe 1 1/2 hour drive.

Actually the Tetons are really pretty but in my opinion not a lot to do. I think there are a few short boat trips and probably some hiking trails. I checked a year or 2 ago for restaurants. One of the big resort ones inside the park took reservations. French chef, etc. Dinner was flat fee with about 2 or 3 main course selections, etc. Around $100 per person. Way out of my price range! LOL

Oh, the Coulter Bay is the only place in the park with FHU. And I tried 2 years ago around Jan/Feb and all booked. Then last year I booked it in December, I think.
