I'm still currently working 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off, so we have been going out for 2 weeks every 6 weeks. All of our trips so far have only been between 2 and 2 1/2 hours away but have one 6 1/2 hour trip planned out and reserved through late October. We've been taking the shorter trips so that we can still get out and enjoy our MHC. The DW has really been belly aching each time when she comes back from the grocery store. Seems like everything has gotten insanely expensive in the last couple of years. Hopefully by the time I can retire in about 3 years things will have gotten back to something that resembles "normal". I'm not gonna hold my breath on that aspect though.....
