I know this is an older thread, but can you (or anyone else who has installed the goose box) please put a picture of how and where you mounted the wiring box onto the new goose box?
My original hitch had the box installed on the inside on a flat place, and there's a perfect spot in the goose box but if I drill/screw into it I know it goes in the direction of the airbag and I don't want to get anywhere near that.
