Almost all of my trim pieces are short. I made them put new ones on when I bought it because they were yellowed as the rig sat on dealers lot for 17 months (in AZ sun). I am pretty sure they had let the new roll of trim sit in the 100+ heat before they installed them. When temps drop back to ONLY 80, I think it shrinks. So make sure you cut the pieces when 'coolish' or so they don't shrink.
