I had to replace two of our cables three months ago on our bedroom slide. You will need to remove the top valance from inside the RV on the slide you need to replace the cable on. Behind that is all the cabling and the motor. I had a helper and it took about 4 hours to replace both cables. It can be a little tricky, but it is doable if you are mechanically inclined!
