I was told to never put any chemicals on my slide out seals by my dealer. I was skeptical of that advise and did use some seal treatment for a while. Then at the national rally last year, the Lippert speaker at one of their seminars said the same thing. Then I found online “ common rv slide out mistakes and how to avoid them” by Steele rubber company. You will have to google it, I can’t attach the link. Three strikes and I’m out, no more treating the seals and I am seeing no more black marks on the sides of the coach from the bulb seals and they are looking and feeling much better. Not saying what to do..so much info out there..just throwing it out there
