Just subscribing to the thread as my knees are starting to "wear out".
What scares me is the chance for infection. A lady friend of ours had a knee replaced a couple months ago. Nasty staph infection and still using a walker. Last week she had a heart attack though seems to be doing well but that infection supposedly was the cause/
Dutchman - hope you get some real answers today. My primary and dentist both retired during COVID with my DW facing the same with her docs
