We've been in a few campgrounds that had only 30 amp service and we never had problems running the AC. Power management is essential. The worst that will happen is, the breaker at the shore power box will trip. Solution: Turn something off inside the camper and flip the breaker back on.

Putting the water heater on gas helps manage the power, and turning off the AC when you run the microwave also helps. Run the microwave then turn the AC back on.

If using an electric griddle or an electric skillet, run a separate extension cord into the camper plugged into the 120 v outlet on the shore power box. We cook outside mostly on an electric griddle. I run a separate extension cord from the shore power pole, never plug it into the camper.

Never tripped a shore power breaker after owing 1 pop-up and 3 travel trailers that were all 30 amp. Power management is the solution.
