I've had service contracts since the trailer was new and used them very few times. Just in case the refriferator or air condition unit goes bad for example, they can be expensive. We only use the 5th wheel about 30 days a year in the summer months any more since we don't travel much anymore. I guess in the long run I should just skip buying anything and use my savings for any big expense.
