I sold my 1969 Airstream after 30 years of ownership when I bought my 2019 Montana. Honestly, I have had far more problems with the new RV in the past 4+ years than I did in 30 years with the old one. Keystone support has been pretty good though, you need to be patient and persistent.
When considering a new RV, I have no brand loyalty, but would not exclude Montana from consideration. It would depend on features, availability, "apparent" build quality of the actual unit we are looking at, and cost.
