I have two of those roller shades over the dining slide windows. I had them installed by ShadePro in Quartzsite many years ago. I wasn't watching that closely at the installation. But the support arms (which I think you are concerned about) are each side of each window. I doubt there are any frame structures in those same places.

Thee top shade holder uses what looks like #12 screws. They are probably short to just go through the exterior wall. They appear to be spaced around every 4" or so. The lower pivot arms are also just screwed into the sidewall. They don't need much as the shade force presses down on them.
