I lost (I thought) my paper work on when I bought my Michelin tires. I usually replace around 5 years but had them on for 5 yr and 6 months. They looked very newish. Had 2 blow out last summer. I was driving around 65 both times. Temps were probably 85 for first one and 95-100 for the 2nd one. Little did I know they were 1 year and 4 months old when i installed them! ULP. $9600 later, I was back ready to go next year. I only paid $500 deductible and State Farm picked up the rest, so that was good.

An aside here - I had already lost 30 days after 10 days on the road to start the summer to had the engine eventually replaced!!! Then another 4 days to replace the fan assembly near Bozman, Mt. So wife was ready to hang up the traveling shoes for good. The next day after arriving home, she saw a rainbow over the rig sitting on the street and took it as a sign!! So we are both ready for this summer!
