Maybe 2 1/2 is if your trailer sits on them for months at a time, outside in the sun. Mine are at 3 years and I'm contemplating putting new ones on, even though we tow our rig once a month. Changing tires is not fun and worse is if your tire grenades and destroys the side of your trailer.........had that happen about 15 years ago on a Thor Jazz 5th wheel.
