And the hitch weight varies significantly by model. My 2013 was the lightest hitch weight of all the models that year - 2000 or 2100 lb per the specs and was the longest Mountaineer that year. I was running with my old rig at 2400 lb so thought I would be great. The placement of the axles changes the hitch weight a lot even on a rig that weighs the same.

Well loaded I am at 2400 or 2500 lb. So I am 400 over GVWR, but right at the rear axle limit (and tires). So would I like more GVWR - yes, but not if I have to drive a dually which will NOT fight in my garage.
