Early last year in Pa I tried to use my outside shower for the first time to clean something I was working on. When I touched the facet it crumbled and I had water all over the place and it was freezing outside. I ended up caping the water connection and haven't replaced the outside shower unit yet. I just capped the lines and let it go.
I wondered why the connections never leaked before. I only touched it.
