Lets see. MSRP of $60,000. 10% is $6000. Average discount is 25-30% of $60,000 = $15-18,000. that is $9000 to $12000 saved by a 200 mile trip. At 10 miles per gallon at $3.25 per gallon that is 27692 - 36923 miles. Hmmm. Looks like you can afford quite a few trips to a better, more competitive dealer. I suggest that you see how many Montana dealers there are within 1/2 days drive, send them an e-mail with what you are looking for and then show their responses to your local dealer. You may find him more willing to talk. You next question will then be the tough one...will he actually be willing to service your rig and can you trust him with it. You might want to go to any local CG and see if there are any Montana's there. Check with them and see if they bought their rig at your local dealer and what his service has been like. Check the BBS or Chamber of Commerce. Next time when you talk to you will be armed for bear...and you might just find out he is a ***** cat. Good luck.
