I have tried the Bounce sheets for bugs, and they work well but are pretty messy. I recently found some cleaner spray at the dollar store for (guess what?) a dollar! I think it's called Fantastic or something like that. Simply spray it on and let it set for a few minutes, then use a weak solution of the same stuff with a soft brush and the bugs come right off.
As for wax, I recently tried some Thetford RV wax. It's the easiest wax I have found to date, and it works great. Just wipe on / wipe off.
