Judy, it's in the manual. 500 miles before towing. Then not to exceed 50 mph the first 500 miles of towing. Surprisingly, the 500 below 50 was not really all that difficult. We just planned our first couple of days for that speed, which means reduced distance per so many hours. We took mostly US highways where the speed limit is mostly 55 anyhow and were in some mountains with curves and the like that holds everyone's speed down anyhow.
