Dimplex has been very good to us. They have sent us two squirrel cage heaters and also the front glass (it broke one morning). I would encourage you or your technician to check the power block connector, as this caused great consternation for us when it started to burn the electrical wire insulation.
Also, don't run the fireplace unless you are present...
