Don't worry noggs. As a new member, if you see a topic where you can contribute info, adding it like you did "wakes" the topic back up. Since you added "pirit heated hose" as a new post, I was not familiar with that specific product and now I can go check it out.
It's not unusual for new members to post into older Topics. If the administrators of the forum close the topic then you won't be able to post to it. I think that's the way it works.
