Yup, salesmen have diesel exhaust in the brain. They forget that besides the engine and matching trans, there's a lot more to support a tow than that, like brakes, differential, size of tires and wheels, drive train, suspension, springs and so many other factors.
Go figure that if the 3/4, 1 ton, and duallies have the same diesel engine and trans for all major manufacturers, why don't these all have the same numbers? It's because of these other factors!!!
Sometimes, I wish flogging was still legal.
