Well, sounds like the 7720 is a good unit. I've been using mine in the tow vehicle and have enjoyed it so far. I have been learning all the functions, many of which I will use. Although I don't have the Monty with me I set the unit to RV mode. It has warned me of weight limits and low clearences several times. And the speed limit changes have been spot on. I do have issue with the bright sun making the screen hard to see so I may invest in the sun shade.
So far so good. I think the RVND 7720 is a solid unit and works as intended.
