Lacquer thinner will do fine and not hurt the finish. Body shops use a ton of it for everything, just don't use it on fresh paint lol lol.... Goo Gone should also work great. I didn't know they sold it in larger containers. I'm used to getting it at the Dollar Stores lol lol lol. But I use a lot of it too for getting the gummy residue off store stickers...
