We pulled a 3400 with a chevy 2500 diesel for 7 years....MPG averaged 10....but we are not heavy footer, drive around 58, don't punch it to pass unless necessary and ran with a rig fairly light. This MPG was mostly in the western 1/3 US states so lots of hills and climbs over the cont divide. Have fun with the new to you rig.
