I use blue Dawn and bleach. Rinse thoroughly and let dry.

Having retired from the RV industry, I had the opportunity to "rub elbows" with people from all kinds of suppliers and vendors. One of those acquaintances from Domestic actually took awning fabric and put it in a tank of 100% bleach to test the effects of bleach on the vinyl fabric. They had it in the tank for months and there was no adverse effect!

Were they "blowing smoke up my skirt"? Don't know. But, for nearly 10 years, I used blue Dawn and bleach twice a year on the awning of the old Challenger and it was still in pretty good shape when I traded it in this last fall?
