Yep ,I do it all the time sometimes when it rains I will pull one side down and tighten the knob to let the rain drain OR I will tighten both when it is a little windy to make the awning more stable OR like you said to adjust both sides so it comes down more... Great info. I also had no idea how to "tilt" awning because there was no manual included and I didn't want to just play around with it.
This is why I monitor this site every chance I get. And to think ...I could have been doing the angled awning for the last several months if I had of just asked an expert!
