Good news for those of us in SW Florida tonight (Ft. Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, etc.) only a Tropical Storm Watch, not a warning. Plus looks like our winds will max out at 30mph with possible higher gusts. By 2am they think it will be very close to shore directly across from Lake O. This is bad news for Phil where he lives and I hope he is long gone. Sustained winds close to where he lives will be around 50mph by 8pm and could reach 70mph or more by morning. I would guess if sustained winds are close to 70mph then there would be gusts well over 80.

We are keeping both residents and first responders in our thoughts tonight.
